Q. I don’t know anyone. Will I feel welcome?

A. Of course, that is what we are here for, to help folks get to know their fellow boaters. And we all know its more fun to boat in a group.

Q. My boat is not a "go fast" can I still join?

A. While our club is aimed at the performance boater, we do not have any specific rules other than that the boat must be able to travel 40mph. Other than that, any type or brand of boat is ok.

Q. Is this a family friendly organization?

A. Yes, we are here for the entire family. We encourage an atmoshere at our gatherings and events where everyone can have a good time.

Q. I have never joined a club or entered a poker run before, do I belong here?

A. Absolutely, all of us at one time were new to these types of things. There are plenty of folks that are more than happy to lend a hand, or give advice when needed.

Q. Is my boat too small?

A. No, we do not have any size limit. In fact, Marshall has a kayak

Q. Why the 40mph rule?

A. Many of the events we participate in, Boat have an average cruise speed between 40 and 50 mph in order to really enjoy the event.

Q. Why don't you charge dues?

A. We are driven by our passion for boating and the friendships we make. The goal of ETPBC is to increase the local support and draw interest to power boating. We are a place for folks to find information on local events and to help organize events and get-togethers. We are a social club and a place to help introduce boaters to more like minded individuals. Besides, boating is already expensive enough.
